Step-by-Step Guide

Step One

Sexual Health Analysis

The first step is to obtain a semen analysis and a blood test report.

These can be completed at a local general practice or health clinic of your choice. This would help assess the general health and quality of your sperm. Our medical experts would guide you if rehabilitation is required. Luckily, if there is an issue, rehabilition for males is generally simple; just a healthy diet and lifestyle needs to be maintained.

Analysis on sexually transmitted diseases would also be required on this report. Our labs support the technology to remove many chronic diseases, such as HIV, from positive semen samples.

Step Two

Egg Donor Selection

After the contract is signed, we can proceed with step two, egg donor selection.

Our team will consult with you in detail in regards to what you hope your future child’s genetic mother would be. From there we will utilize BFC’s global network to locate suitable candidates who are willing to donate.

BFC runs checks on our candidates; such as medical, background and lifestyle to ensure that they are fit for donation. Once approved, we would then pass the various profiles to you.

Following your approval, we would then be able to procced with arranging ovarian stimulation and the retrieval of the eggs from the donor.

Step Three

3rd Gen. IVF

In step three, the donor eggs would be fertilised with your sperm, creating embryos.

We welcome to you visit one of our several partnership medical clinics/hospitals to provide semen. We have many available sites around the world. Your semen is then pre-treated and IVF takes place with ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection); whereby selected sperm is introduced into the donor egg manually.

Once embryos form, two stages of analysis is performed.

The first stage is physical analysis; low grade embryos are removed from the selection.

Followed by genetic analysis, which includes 3rd generation PGT-A (Preimplantation Genetic Testing for Aneuploidy) and PGT-M (Preimplantation Genetic Testing for Monogenic Disorders). This technology is able to significantly reduce the risk of miscarriage, fetal abnormalities and your child suffering from genetic diseases.

Step Four

Surrogate

BFC would help you find a suitable surrogate candidate for stage four.

Prior to our reccommendation, we would verify that they would be suitable as a surrogate mother. Checks include history, medical and lifestyle requirements.

Once signed onboard, we organise the impregnation process for our surrogates. Prenatal care would also be arranged. If they require assistance with care and diet, BFC would also arrange these services.

Regular medical appointments are also organised so that the condition of the fetus and the mother can monitored closely.

Step Five

Delivery & Registration

In the final step, BFC organises delivery at one of our renowned hospitals.

It would be our responsibility to ensure that your child and surrogate mother is looked after with the utmost care. Postpartum recovery for the surrogate would be arranged which covers care, medication, supplements and mental health services.

A newborn would require various types of registrations; BFC has the services to assist you throughout this process. Leaving you worry-free and avaliable to bond with your new family member.

Stem-Cell Storage

BFC can also assist in organising the cryogenic storage of the umbilical cord, cord blood and placenta. During the delivery of your child you have a rare opportunity to store these three sources of precious stem cells.
